The FPM 1.65m Hydraulic Side-Shift Rotovator P-LPF165H is ideal for tilling and breaking up compacted ground ready for planting. The robust heavy duty design, blades and gearbox gives this attachment a lot of strength. The P-LPF165H model also has a hydraulic side-shift function which allows even the most awkward areas to be cultivated. The left and right handed blades are mounted to the rotor cylinder and till the soil as the machine works. This allows the rotary tiller to effectively break up compacted soil to leave the ground ready for planting. Always check the land you are about to rotovate for any foreign objects or large stones. Remove these prior to starting. Lower the machine to the ground and start the PTO drive at 540RPM then lower in to the ground. Start at a slow speed to prevent the tractor or machine from struggling. Some compacted areas may need 2 passes at a lesser depth to start with then going deeper on a second pass. This machine will work best when the ground isn’t too solid or too wet. Looser soil types will be easier to work on such as sandy areas vs. more compacted clay. This is a PTO driven implement with chain and gear drive. This rotovator comes with a shear bolt PTO as standard for enhanced safety. The skids are height adjustable for flexible use. The rear flap can be used to create a smooth, level finish on the soil, with a maximum tilling depth of 20cm. It is also adjustable for the exact finish desired. The FPM 1.65m Hydraulic Side-Shift Rotovator P-LPF165H can be attached to the 3 point linkage of a range of small or compact tractors. It is quick and simple to fit and operate.
